In the past curriculum we could see how in the school the English language was only used in the two or three hours per week marked by state law. Given the school failure of recent years and seeing pioneering countries such as Finland where public education marks English from preschool, Spain has wanted to join in the implementation of English in other school subjects.

What do we get? Well, the child is forced to understand a new language from another perspective, that is, using it not only in his subject but in other disciplines. In this way, we will ensure that the child fully understands its meaning and that he can use it in different situations. In addition, he will have more skills and greater comprehension capacity when using the language in other meanings, not only grammatically.

Thanks to this new practice, teachers will help students acquire greater vocabulary and greater fluency. In this way, we will get more motivation in the little ones that will be useful for their future. To do this, teachers must be trained in this methodology since, by implementing it in the classroom, we want to achieve the greatest benefit for the little ones.

In short, the new CLIL methodology will help the little ones when they are adults to express themselves not only grammatically as they have been able to learn in the English subject, but mostly.
